BSCRC Flow Cytometry Core BSCRC Flow Core Staff: Jeffrey Calimlim, Felicia Codrea, Jessica Scholes, BSCRCFlowCore@mednet.ucla.edu (310) 825-4408 TLSB 3045. https://stemcell.ucla.edu/flow-cytometry-core. The Flow Cytometry Core provides the UCLA research community with flow cytometry instrumentation and expertise in cell analysis and cell sorting services.  The instruments use Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting, or FACS, technology, which enables users to analyze cell populations, isolate cells with special characteristics and characterize their biochemical, genomic and epigenetic properties.

Janis V. Giorgi Flow Cytometry Core  Zoran Galic, PhD (310) 825-1043 Factor Building 12th floor. http://cyto.mednet.ucla.edu/home.html The core laboratory provides instrumentation and technical and professional assistance for performing laser-based flow cytometric analysis and cell sorting. The facility also offers training in basic flow cytometry principles and in the operation of analytic cytometers. A second course teaches nucleic acid analysis and measurement of proliferation by flow cytometry as well as hands-on instrument set-up and use of the specialized DNA analysis software.
