This is a an LSO-based PET scanner capable of imaging both mice and rats. It has up to 7.6cm axial field of view (FOV), 22cm bore diameter, 1.37mm FWHM, and 3.4% sensitivity at center FOV. Reconstruction algorithms include FBP, 3DRP, EM and MAP. Imaging chambers include heating and anesthesia.

This is a combined PET/CT scanner for whole body mice and smaller rats (e.g. brain) imaging. The automated system provides CT-based attenuation correction, ML-EM reconstruction and images in standard DICOM format. Its high sensitivity allows accurate imaging down to 5 uCi. Imaging chambers include heating and anesthesia.

This is an in-house built microCT by Dr. Arion Hadjioannou’s lab for mice and small rats (<300g) imaging. Offers low-dose (50mGy), quick (~2min) acquisition and down to 125 micron resolution. Has real-time visual monitoring. Imaging chambers include heating and anesthesia.

This is an in vivo optical scanner capable of both bioluminescence or fluorescence imaging. The systems can also be used for radiation (Cherenkov) imaging. The system can accommodate up to five mice or smaller rats. A module is available for co-registration with other imaging modalities such as PET and/or CT.

This is in vivo imaging system is a high performance, multi- and hyper-spectral imaging system designed for fluorescence macro-imaging of small animals such as mice. It has capabilities with NIR imaging and spectral unmixing.

A general cell culture set-up that permits radiation and BSL2 work. Includes a sterile biosafety cabinet, 37degC/5% CO2 incubator, 4oC fridge, -20C freezer, 15 and 50ml benchtop centrifuge, light microscope, auto and manual pipette set, and aspirator. User provides consumables such as media, plates, pipette tips, etc.

This is a fully computerized cryomacrotome for whole-body sectioning primarily in quantitative investigation of the effect of labeled compounds, pharmaceuticals and (bio)chemicals in pre-clinical studies, as well as detailed anatomical and morphological analysis. Sections of reproducible thickness can be cut with the heavy-duty microtome and directly dehydrated in the large stainless steel cabinet.

This cryostat is for cryosectioning for all types of cryosectioning applications. Permits reproducible, thin, serial sections down to microns of frozen or fixed tissues. This instrument can be used with radioactive samples. Samples can be used for autoradiography, histology and immunohistochemistry.
FUJIFILM BAS-500 phosphorimager

This phosphorimager permits localization and quantification of radioactive material such as in tissue autoradiography. Phosphorimaging can recognize radiolabelled material in a variety of sample preparations, such as gels, blots, homogenized tissues, cell populations, arrays and tissue slices.
